I took a leap of faith when I decided to sign up to start my own Mary Kay business. I have always said that I wanted to be my own boss. You get out of your business what you put in to it for sure. For me, the business is an opportunity for personal growth spiritually and financially. I began this with the intention of just making some extra income to cover when the child support doesn't show up in the bank or when I have unexpected expenses. In the two short weeks that I have been an independent consultant for Mary Kay, I have seen positive changes in my every day. I have more goals than the mundane of going to work 8-5, Monday through Friday. I have found a new sense of purpose now that I have this new venture which is my second biggest adventure yet! My first being the birth of my son 2 years ago and being a single mother to him.
I lost my sister and mother a year ago and thought that my world was over. I began a downward spiral of unhappy and other than my son, I couldn't find any reasons to want to be happy. It took a lot of soul searching and cleaning out the closet of my hurt heart, so to speak, in order for me to get to the positive place that I have found myself in now. I know that they are my angels guiding me along the way.
I wanted to start this blog to not only tell people about our new products and specials, but to educate, inspire and empower women along the way. Mary Kay only asks two things of her consultants. She asks that we share the product and she asks that we share the opportunity. So this is my mission. I have taken this on because I believe in our products and what we stand for.
Ask me how you too can become your own boss and own your own business!
